Anelia Atanassova

Biography

Anelia Atanassova is the Senior Scientists of BioGlobaX Inc and a scientific consultant to Drug Discovery and Biotechnology companies. She earned BSc in Chemistry, MSc in Biophysics and PhD in Biochemistry from Sofia University, Sofia. Her career includes Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto, Chemistry Department and the Structural Genomics Consortium, Scientist in the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto, PharmaGen Ltd., Sofia and Center for Gene Research, Nagoya University, Japan. 

Research Interest

Protein pharmaceuticals, new drugs, biosimilars and biobetters, industrial peptides, structure and activity correlations, biological chemistry and structural biology, protein production and process improvement, products stability and efficacy.
