Biography

 Anthony C Waddimba is currently working as Health Services Researcher in Bassett Medical Center. He received Graduation MA, M.Sc in Biomedical Sciences from Tufts University Sackler School of Graduation, M.B Ch.B from University of Zambia School of Medicine, Lusaka, Zambia. He is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through his co-authorship of many books.

Research Interest

 Dr. Waddimba focuses his research primarily on investigating the factors that influence the day-to-day clinical decisions of healthcare providers, especially physicians. He is highly interested in the attitudes and motives of physicians with regard to evidence-based medicine (EBM) and shared decision-making (SDM). A secondary stream of his research addresses job satisfaction & job stress/burnout among physicians, with a special emphasis on their impact on the quality of care delivered to patients. A tertiary strand of Dr. Waddimba’s research investigates the comparative effectiveness of individual, team/group, or systemic performance score cards on the quality of healthcare processes and outcomes among vulnerable, injured, or underserved patient populations.
