Biography
Bradley B. Keller, M.D., Kosair Charities chair and director of the Cardiovascular Innovation Institute’s Kosair Charities Pediatric Heart Research Center, directs pediatric heart research at the CII. Dr. Keller also serves as the vice-chair for research with the department of Pediatrics at the University of Louisville and provides inpatient and outpatient care for children and adults with congenital heart disease as a tenured professor in the department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Louisville. Graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and genetics, Dr. Keller then received his Doctorate in Medicine at Pennsylvania State University in Hershey, PA. Dr. Keller went on to complete his pediatric residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and a Fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, New York. Dr. Keller served as program principal investigator for the Specialized Center of Research for Pediatric Cardiovascular Diseases at the University of Rochester from 1993 to 1998. He also served as the principal investigator for numerous investigator-initiated research grants, including the administration of research projects and resources.
