He graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2000. After receiving initial training in Internal Medicine, he followed Rheumatology at the Rheumatology Clinic of the University Hospital of Ioannina and obtained the certification of the specialty of Rheumatology in 2011. Since 2012 he has been an associate of the Inflammation Research Group under Prof. K. Ritis and in 2013 he has been appointed Post-Doctorate Researcher at the Molecular Hematology Laboratory of the Medical School of the Democritus University of Thrace. He has contributed to several publications in these fields, while he regularly participates in patient evaluation and follow up at the outpatient office.
