Biography
Dr. Sikazwe holds a BSc. degree in chemistry, earned in 1990, from Edward Waters College (Jacksonville, FL). In 1996, he graduated with a MSc. degree in Pharmacy from the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL). He followed that up with a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, with an emphasis in CNS drug discovery, from Florida A &M University (Tallahassee, FL), in 2004. His Ph.D. dissertation focused on the design/synthesis/characterization and evaluation of dopamine-2/dopamine-4 receptor antagonists as potential antipsychotics.
