Marshall J. Orloff, MD has been a member of the UCSD School of Medicine faculty for 45 years.Dr. Orloff received BS, MS, and MD degrees from the University of Illinois, all with high honors, and was a PhD candidate in pharmacology at the University of Colorado. He has been certified by the American Board of Surgery and the Board of Thoracic Surgery. He was 37 years old when he accepted the Chair of Surgery at UCSD, the youngest surgical chair in the United States.
