Biography

I am a senior researcher within the UNSW Centre for Primary Health Care and Equity and one of the leading primary care researchers in Australia. I lead research that broadly addresses equity of access to primary health care. I am particularly interested in the use of administrative data collections and record linkage techniques for research into primary health care. These methods have the capacity to enhance and enrich our understanding of how people use primary health care services in Australia and to enable us to explore research questions of policy and practice relevance.

My research has breadth and depth and is focused into three major programs of work: Aboriginal health, record linkage, and research capacity building in primary and community based health services.
