Biography
Dr. Wurtele, Professor, received her B.S. in Biology from the University of California-Santa Cruz, and her Ph.D. in Biology from the UCLA. After serving as a postdoctoral fellow at UC-Davis and Senior Research Scientist at NPI, Inc., Dr. Wurtele joined the faculty at Iowa State University in 1988. In 1999, she organized the first Plant Science Institute symposia series at ISU.
