Biography

Dr. Fanfan Zhou has received her PhD from the department of Pharmaceutics, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, USA in 2008. Currently, she is working as a lecturer in the Faculty of Pharmacy, the University of Sydney, Australia. Her research has included investigating the roles of the Solute Carrier transporters (SLCs) in drug ADME; Structure-Function relationship and regulation of SLCs as well as pharmacogenomics of SLC transporter genes in relation to the pharmacokinetics of clinically important drugs. She is serving as an editorial member of the World Journal of Pharmacology & expert Reviewers for journals like Molecular Pharmacology, Biochemical Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Research. She have authored on 39 research articles/books and is holding one patent. She is a member of the Australasian Society for Clinical and Experimental Pharmacologists and Toxicologists (ASCEPT), a committee member of the Australia Association of Chinese Biomedical Scientists (AACBS) and the advisor of the AAPS student chapter of The University of Sydney, Australia (2009-2013).

Research Interest

Her research has included investigating the roles of the Solute Carrier transporters (SLCs) in drug ADME; Structure-Function relationship and regulation of SLCs as well as pharmacogenomics of SLC transporter genes in relation to the pharmacokinetics of clinically important drugs.
