Dr. Gail Czarnecki received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2007 and her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Children’s Hospital of Michigan in 2009. She has worked in both private practice and academia. Upon graduation, she served as attending faculty at Children’s Hospital of Michigan Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program. She has also served as adjunct faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. She joined the University of Michigan School of Dentistry as a clinical lecturer in the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry in 2011. She is involved in teaching in the undergraduate pediatric dentistry clinic and practices pediatric dentistry in the faculty practice. Her interests include caries prevention, early oral health education and community outreach. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Michigan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
