Biography

Dr. Gang (Sheng) Chen is Associate Professor of Engineering at College of Information Technology and Engineering, Marshall University. He has been awarded J. Robert Fletcher Professorship. Dr. Chen’s areas of expertise lie in acoustics, dynamics, tribology and applications in vehicle systems, mechatronics systems and structural systems.

Research Interest

Dr. Gang (Sheng) Chen research has been focused on developing theoretical framework and exploring advanced technology for vehicle noise and vibration control, micro-system dynamics control and structure health monitoring.
