Biography

 After spending 10 years working as a geologist in the Canadian arctic (and throughout the rest of Canada),  his interests turned to medicine.  He completed medical school in Ireland in beautiful Cork City at the University College Cork, a campus of the National University of Ireland.  His residency brought him back to Saskatoon, where he completed the training requirements in the speciality of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.  Apart from working at the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Centre for one year, He have been a Professor at the University of Saskatchewan since receiving his Fellowship.

 He have held a number of administrative positions in his Department including Director of the Undergraduate and Post Graduate education programs, Assistant Dean Undergraduate Medical Education and most recently, Acting Department Head.  His clinical interests are primarily neuro-rehabilitation with a focus on Spinal Cord Injury, but He also provide care to people with amputations.  His research parallels his interest in these two clinical areas and undergraduate medical education as well.
