George K. Papadopoulos Born in 1962; studies in Chemical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens; PhD from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens; one-year postdoctoral scholar at the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, UK; three-years research associate at the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London; currently, research fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge MA, U.S.A.

Research Interest

Research interest in Thermodynamics and transport phenomena of fluids under confinement: Emphasis upon processes such as separations, carbon capture and sequestration, and energy storage for ecofriendly applications.Lattice and statistical mechanics-based computer modeling of biological systems, focusing on drug nanocarriers. Adapting statistical mechanical concepts in immunology.
