Biography

George S. Tombras received his undergraduate degree (B.Sc.) in Physics from the Aristoteli-an University of Thessaloniki, Greece, his M.Sc. degree in Electronics from the University of Southampton, UK, and the Ph.D. degree in Physics from the Aristotelian University of Thessa-loniki, in 1979, 1981, and 1988 respectively.
