Giovanni Guaraldi

Biography

Dr Giovanni Guaraldi is Assistant Professor of  Infectious disease at University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy). He is Director of the Modena University Centre for Cooperation and Development and he is the coordinator of the European ACP project CoBaSys (Community Based System in HIV Treatment) focused on antiretroviral access program in sub-Sahara African countries.In 2000 he started a liver and kidney transplant program for people with HIV infection at the multivisceral transplant centre at Policlinico of Modena. Since 2002 he runs a Metabolic Clinic for HIV infection.
