Biography

I am associate professor, infectious diseases and clinical microbiology physician, and working as being infection control doctor and administrator of department of Infectious diseases and clinical microbiology, Ministry of Health BakÃÂ±rköy Sadi Konuk Research Hospital. I graduated from CerrahpaÃÅ¸a School of Medicine, ÃÂ°stanbul University in 2000. I have completed specialization of Infectious Disease and Clinical Microbiology at the end of 2005 at department of infectious diseases and clinical microbiology, ÃÂ°stanbul Research Hospital. I have been working for 10 years as being Infectious diseases and clinical microbiology physician in Turkey. I have been promoted to associate professor in March of 2015. My research areas are hematological infections, antimicrobial resistance, antibiotic stewardship, HIV, chronic viral hepatitis B and C, infection control, and febrile neutropenia.
