Biography

Dr. Harish Garg is an Assistant Professor at Thapar University, Patiala, India since July 2013. His research interest are in the field of Computational Intelligence, Multi-criteria decision making problems, Reliability theory, Optimization techniques, various nature inspired algorithms (e.g. genetic algorithms, swarm optimization), fuzzy and intuitionistic fuzzy set theory, Expert Systems. Application areas include wide range of industrial and structural engineering design problems. Dr. Garg has authored/co-authored over 57 technical papers published in refereed International Journals including Experts System with Applications, Applied Soft Computing, Journal of Manufacturing Systems, ISA Transactions, Computer and Industrial Engineering, Computer and Operations Research, International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based System, Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems, Journal of Industrial and Management Optimization, Japan Journal of Industrial and Applied Mathematics, Journal of Multiple Logic and Soft Computing, etc. He has published six book chapters also. His Biographical profile has been selected for inclusion in the Marquis Who's Who in the World 2013, 2015. He also severs as an Editorial Board member of various International Journals.
