Dr. Hemant J. Purohit currently working as Head, Environmental Genomics Unit in Environmental Genomics Unit, National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, Nehru Marg, Nagpur-440020, India.He has honors and awards of Fogarty International Exchange Program Fellowship Visiting Fellow/ Associate Laboratory of Molecular Biology, NINDS, NIH, Bethesda, MD, 20892, USA January 1989- September1992; Commonwealth Post Doctoral Fellowship Department of Biochemistry, University of Hull, Hull, U.K September 1987-October 1988. He has  68 papers publications and  Presented in conferences 142 papers and invited for 22 lectures.
