James Faulkner

Biography

Dr James Faulkner received his PhD  from the University of Exeter (UK) in 2009. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Sport and Exercise at Massey University (New Zealand). He has successfully published in a number of international peer reviewed journals in the area of sport, exercise and health. His research has addressed the physiological underpinnings associated with exercise participation with individuals of varying age and health status (paediatric groups to clinical populations). 

Research Interest

His primary research interest focuses on the utility of physical activity, soon after stroke or transient ischaemic attack, in improving physiological and psycho-social health outcomes
