Biography

 Dr. Jeffrey C. Wang, M.D., serves as an Exclusive Consultant and Advisor to Amedica for spine products. Dr. Wang is a nationally recognized expert in the field of spine surgery. He is a world-renowned leader in spine care with more than 20 years of experience in orthopedic surgery and expertise in the surgical treatment of all neck and back disorders. He holds various positions at University of California, Los Angeles include Executive Director, Comprehensive Spine Center; Chief, Spine Service, Department of Orthopedic Surgery Co-Director, Comprehensive Spine Center, School of Medicine; Director, Orthopedic Spine Fellowship, Center for Health Sciences; and Attending Surgeon, Center for Health Sciences at the School of Medicine. He serves as Chief of Spine Service Attending Surgeon West Los Angeles at the Veterans Administration Medial Center. Dr. Wang serves as an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery at the UCLA School of Medicine. He serves as Member of Scientific Advisory Board at SpineOvations Inc. and Bruin Biometrics, LLC. He has been a Member of Scientific Advisory Board at Bone Biologics, Corp. since 2005. He serves as Member of Advisory Board and Surgeon Advisor of Amedica Corporation. He serves as a Member of Medical Advisory Board of Facet Solutions, Inc. He is Member of Cervical Spine Research Society, North American Spine Society, Scoliosis Research Society, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and Western Orthopaedic Association. He served as a Member of Surgeon Advisory Council of Endius, Inc. He is Fellow at Case Western University from 1996 to 1997 and American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1993. Among his many professional activities, he serves on the SpineLine Editorial Committee. Dr. Wang received his Undergraduate from University of Stanford from 1983 to 1987, M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from 1987 to 1991 and completed his Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at UCLA Medical Center from 1991 to 1996.
