Dr. Jian Kang is currently a researcher in the Center for Fiber and Textile Science at Kyoto Institute of Technology. Kang received B.S. in textile engineering (dyeing and finishing) from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, China (2007), and his Ph.D. from Kyoto Institute of Technology (2011). Kang worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Venture Laboratory, Kyoto Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2013.
Kang’s research interests focus on evaluation of textile tactile property and fabrication of nanofibers from natural materials.
