Jiguang Wang

Biography

Dr Jiguang Wang has received his PhD in Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences during the period of 2006-2011. Currently, he is working as postdoctoral research scientist in Columbia University. His research has included network biology and cancer genomics. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as Excellent PhD thesis Award of Chinese Academy of Science, Special Prize of President Scholarship for Postgraduate Students of Chinese Academy of Science, travel award of 10th International Symposium on Bioinformatics Research. He /she is serving as an editorial member of Journal of Health & Medical Informatics, & expert Reviewers for a number of journals like PLoS one, BMC Genomics, ITE systems Biology, Journal of Theoretical Biology, etc. He has authored more than 30 research articles. He/she is a member of the New York Academy of Sciences.
