John D. Lloyd

Biography

Dr. John Lloyd holds a PhD in Ergonomics from Loughborough University in England, and is Board Certified throughout the United States as a Professional Ergonomist and Certified Brain Injury Specialist. John is a federally funded researcher and expert in the field of head and brain injury biomechanics. He currently serves as Senior Researcher at the Biomechanics and Traumatic Brain Injury Laboratories at the James A. Haley VAMC in Tampa. Dr. Lloyd is also an Assistant Professor of Engineering (courtesy) at the University of South Florida. John is also a motorcycle enthusiast, first learning to ride motorcycles across farmer’s fields in England. Since immigrating to the United States, John has clocked more than 200,000 miles on motorcycles and has completed numerous advanced motorcyclist training programs. Dr. Lloyd has served as a biomechanics expert on a variety of motorcycle accident cases. 

Research Interest

John is also a motorcycle enthusiast, first learning to ride motorcycles across farmer’s fields in England.
