Biography

Dr Kennedy Amone-P'Olak, PhD has worked as a Principal Investigator "The WAYS Study" at Gulu University Uganda, and also Currently at Gulu University in Centre for Health and Behavioural Research.He worked as a Psychosocial Consultant for Centre for Health and Behavioural Research from December 2009 – Present (6 years 2 months).He is an Associate Professor for Rijksuniversiteit Groningen 2005 – 2009 (4 years).He finished his education in University of Cambridge as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Mental Health 2011 – 2013 and Activities and Societies: Give talks, lectures, seminars, symposia, and supervise graduate students in University of Cambridge Then he finished his Postdoctoral Fellowship, Mental Health and Traumatology 2011 – 2012 University of Groningen and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Mental Health and Traumatology in 2005 – 2009 in Leiden University He completed his Master of Science, Health/Medical Psychology 2003 – 2004 in Makerere University and Master of Education (Guidance and Counselling), Counselling Psychology in 1995 – 1997 in Makerere University Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Education, Counseling Psychology in 1988 – 1991 St Peter's College, Tororo. Advanced Level Education, High School in 1986 – 1988 and Sir Samuel Baker School with Uganda Certificate of Education, Ordinary Level,1982 – 1985.
