Dr. K. Ramalingam obtained his D.Sc. and PhD in Zoology from University of Madras, Chennai, India in 2009, 1981 respectively. He is working as Professor, and Head of the Department of Marine Biotechnology, AMET University, Kanathur, Chennai. He also served as Senior Scientist at Mediclone Research Center, Mediclone Biotech. Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. His area of specialization includes Marine Biotechnology, Marine Biology, Marine Crustaceans, Toxicology, Cancer Biology, and Immunology.
