Kazim Husain

Biography

Kazim Husain is a Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Ponce School of Medicine, Ponce, PR. Director Toxicology Courseâ at Ponce School of Medicine, Ponce,PR. Chair Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) at Ponce School of Medicine, Ponce, PR. He has received a PhD in Chemistry from the Kanpur University, India in 1988. He has completed his Post Doctoral Training in the department of Pharmacology, at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Springfield, IL. He received Junior Scientist Awardâ for outstanding research in pathology by Association of Scientists of Indian origin in America, April 1997. He is an editorial board member of reputed journals (J Biomedicine and Biotechnology, J Pediatrics Biochemistry, Trade Science Inc.) He is a reviewer of 42 journals and published 116 research papers.
