Biography
Keat Teong Lee obtained his Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2004. He is currently a Professor at the School of Chemical Engineering and the Director of Research Creativity & Management Office, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Dr. Lee has co-authored 1 book, 8 book chapters, 28 review papers and more than 100 research papers in peer reviewed international journals. Dr. Lee is currently the Co-Editor for Energy Conversion and Management (Elsevier) and Editorial Board Member for Bioresource Technology (Elsevier) and Energy Science & Engineering (Wiley). Currently he is working on the production of biofuels (biodiesel and bioethanol) from biomass (including macro and microalgae) using various technologies. Apart from that, he also has special interest on the social and sustainability aspects of biofuels.​
