Biography

Dr. O’Brien is Licensed psychologist, She completed her doctoral training in Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Florida and her pre-doctoral internship in child community psychology at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She has expertise in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an empirically supported treatment for young children (ages three to seven) with attention and behavior problems. She is a certified Level II trainer for PCIT. She has also trained therapists in evidence based practices for child mental health problems through her work with PracticeWise, LLC. In addition to her work at Alvord, Baker & Associates she is a research consultant
