Biography
He is awarded PhD from University of Sao Paulo in 1980. He holds Bachelor’s Degree (BS) from Chulalongkorn University in 1974. Currently, he is working as a professor of Chemistry of the Biomedical Sciences Institute of Abel Salazar (ICBAS), University of Porto, Portugal. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. He was a member of the Marine Board - European Science Foundation (ESF) working group, and a coordinator of the ALFA (America Latina para Formacion Científica) project and the Spanish-Portuguese Network of Program X of CYTED (Fine Chemicals on pharmaceutical proposes). He is currently a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Bangsaen Institute of Marine Science (BIMS) of Burapha University, Thailand. He is the Editorial Board Member of Marine Drugs and editorial advisory board of Journal of Natural pharmaceuticals. His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
