Dr. Cottler is a Dean’s Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Florida. She is also the Chair of the Department of Epidemiology at the College of Public Health and Health Professions. Dr. Cottler’s research interests include the risk for and consequences of addiction, cross-cultural studies of addiction and risk factors, and community engaged studies.Dr. Cottler is also known for her innovative approach to community-based research. She founded and leads the program HealthStreet, which connects St. Louis residents to health care referrals, medical care, social services and opportunities to participate in research
