Dr. Lingaiah Nagarapu, presently holding Principal Scientist at CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad and Professor for AcSIR, New Delhi.His major research focused on "Design and Synthetic Development of Biologically Active Compounds" such as adjuvants, anti-inflammatory,anti-bacterial, anti-cancer and anti-tuberculosis; and involved in applied research for the Process Development for 15 Technologies and received CSIR-Technology award in 1996 from Director-General, CSIR, New Delhi.
Under his supervision awarded 11 Ph.D degrees along with 40 M. Sc and 36 M. Pharmacy degrees.Published nearly 80 research papers in National and International Journals and 2 patents At present a group of 15 students are carrying out their research programme for Ph.D., M. Sc and M. Pharmacy degree.Delivered a number of invited lectures, keynote addresses in national and international conferences on "Bioactive Molecules" which were developed by his research group.
As a Visiting Scientist at Dept of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Yeungnam University, South Korea during the year 2004-2005; and also selected his bibliography for Marquis book "WHO’S WHO IN THE WORLD-2007".
