Biography
Lois E. Krahn, M.D., has been conducting research and clinical practice as a sleep medicine specialist for more than 20 years. Her interests lie in exploring emerging concepts and trends in the field. Attention to current developments, such as the effects of technology on sleep and the potential it offers for sleep monitoring, allow her to continually address new questions and issues in clinical sleep medicine and research.
Dr. Krahn also researches the development of accessible and convenient forms of behavior therapy for patients with sleep disorders. Current work includes research on online cognitive behavioral therapy for people with insomnia that is integrated with clinical practice to study how to best incorporate cutting-edge technologies with more-traditional therapies.
