Mario Giorgi

Biography

Mario GIORGI is currently aggregate professor in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Pisa (Italy). He achieved a degree in pharmaceutical chemistry in 1997 and a degree in applied pharmacology in 2001. In the same year he was employed as an assistant professor, then in 2005 as an aggregate professor. He was visiting professor in foreign institutions (Poland, Australia, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Iran, China and Israel) caring out mutual research and teaching. His main research fields are: Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamic studies in different animal species; Toxicological analyses in veterinary medicine. He acts as referee for more than 40 international journals and as member of editorial board for 5 international journals. He is authors of more than 80 peer reviewed papers.
