Mark S. Jacobson BA is currently working as a PET Radiochemistry Coordinator, Division of Nuclear Medicine, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA. Mark S. Jacobson has joined Mayo Clinic in 1999, had a central role in designing the Mayo PET Radiochemistry Facility, played the same role for a facility expansion in 2012 and further expansions in 2013 and 2015. Mark S. Jacobson also manages the operation for both clinical and clinical research PET drug production programs. Administrative role include composition of an FDA-compliant documentation infrastructure, which includes the Chemistry Manufacturing and Controls documents relating to Mayo Clinic's four FDA licensed PET drug products. These products include Choline C11 Injection, for which Mayo was awarded its first New Drug Application in 2012. Today he manages a team of five PET radiochemists, and two Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologists, and is the operations manager for 2 PET cyclotron Engineers. Mark was appointed Associate in the Department of Radiology in 2013.
