Mary Lynn Higginbotham is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at Kansas State University, USA; she extended her valuable service in field of Veterinary Oncology and has been a recipient of few awards and grants. Her research interests reflect in her wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in dogs and cats. She has experienced the loss of a four-legged family member due to cancer and understands just how challenging a cancer diagnosis can be. She finds fulfilment in teaching students and helping pet owners understand the cancer diagnosis, what treatment options may be available and what the potential prognosis for their pet or patient may be. Helping owners with the treatment of their pet’s cancer and making our pets not only live longer, but most importantly, better, is the ultimate goal.
