She completed her Ph.D in university of Waterloo in speciality of Kinesiology and at present she is working as a Professor and Director, Physical Activity Centre of Excellence (PACE), Director, School of Interdisciplinary Science.Her work in the PACE includes several studies looking at blood vessels in different populations including healthy individuals and those at increased risk for cardiovascular disease.
