Dr. Megan Eshbaugh was raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland prior to attending Virginia Tech where she obtained a B.S. in Human Nutrition foods and Exercise. She later attended Osteopathic medical school at the University of New England on Maine’s coastline. She completed her internal medicine internship and residency training at NOVA Southeastern University’s Largo Medical Center in Largo, FL where she served in the chief intern, assistant chief and chief resident roles. She continued her rheumatology fellowship training through Largo Medical center although was able to focus much of her time in private practice as well as at Bay Pines VA Medical Center. Her passion is towards patient education, “the more patients understand their diseases and treatments, the more proactive role they may take in their health.” She is board certified in internal medicine, board certified in rheumatology and has been recognized by the ISCD as a Certified Clinical Densitometrist.
