Biography

Dr. Jacka is the other Co-Owner of Alberta Surgical Centre. He is another one of the anesthesiologists that frequently works with Dr. Chong. Dr. Jacka is a long established anesthesiologist who has also done subspecialty training in neuro-anesthesiology and critical care medicine. As a staff at the University of Alberta Hospital, Dr. Jacka works mainly in neurosurgical cases dealing with patients that are severely ill and much more difficult to manage than the average cosmetic patient. Dr. Jacka’s research interests are in psychological concerns of the critically ill and in perioperative medicine.
