Michelle Marks

Biography

Dr. Michelle Marks: Research and Executive Director of Setting Scoliosis Straight Foundation.Tucson, AZ,Michelle is a member of the Executive Committee of the Harms Study Group. Her participation in the group began in 1999 as the San Diego Site Coordinator for Peter Newton. She is now the Research Director of the HSG research organization and the Executive Director of the Setting Scoliosis Straight Foundation, where she manages a team of eight. Michelle obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles and her Master’s degree in Kinesiology and Biomechanics from San Diego State University. She is a current associate member of the Scoliosis Research Society, serving on the Research Grant and Program Committees. She resides in Tucson, AZ and San Diego, CA and joined the board in 2008.
