Mohammad Torabi Nami

Biography

M Nami MD, PhD is the Director of Brain, Cognition and behavior Lab, Department of Neuroscience at School of Advanced Medical Science and Technologies, Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Shiraz, Iran. He also serves as the National Brain-Mapping Lab Advisory Board member for Neuroscience. He is currently enrolled in EWHC at Harvard Medical School. His main areas of research and clinical practice are neuroscience of sleep, neurological aspects of sleep disorders and related interventions.

Neuro-cognitive burden of sleep deprivation, Sleep , biorhythms and neuro-cognitive functions, Neuro-degeneration and brain circuitries ( Alzhiemer’s and Parkinson’s) , Exploring the linkage between common  abnormal findings in sleep testing (mainly PSG) with cognition including vigilant attention, learning,  memory, reasoning, planning, decision making and executive functions
