Dr. Edupuganti Mohan Mallikarjuna Rao, MBBS, MD, FRACP graduated from the prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India in 1999, he completed post graduation in Internal Medicine from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education in 2003. He completed fellowship in Internal Medicine from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2010 before moving to USA. He completed residency in Internal Medicine from the Baptist Health system in 2013 and started fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical sciences. He gave several presentations at national and state level conferences in India, he took part in state wide quality control audit for the management of acute coronary syndromes in Australia. At the Royal Brisbane Hospital in Brisbane, Australia he conducted audits of patient deaths and readmissions to the ICU. In USA he has given presentations at International Conference. He has several publications under various categories including case reports, reviews, editorials and is actively involved in several research projects. He is a reviewer for journals such as the British Medical journal for case reports and British Journal of Medicine and Medical research.
His research interests include measurement of fractional flow reserve in coronary arteries, studying cardiovascular outcomes in subjects with liver and kidney transplantation and study of myocardial strain using cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.
