Biography

Dr. Mulugeta Fissha is an Interventional Cardiologist and Director of Cardiovascular Services in Newman Regional Health, Emporia, Kansas. He is a board certified member of American College Of Cardiology. He is considered as a doctor who establish the division of cardiology Newman Regional Health including building a new cardiac catheterization laboratory. Dr. Mulugeta Fissha has achieved many awards as Rhan-Peacock Research Award, (Best research of the year) from Medical College of Georgia in the year 2010, Best fellow award for shortening hospital length of stay measure from Charlie-Norwood VA medical Center, Augusta, GA (2009). His research interests include the Interventional Cardiology with Cardiac and peripheral vascular intervention. Dr. Mulugeta Fissha is an author of many articles, some of which them are indexed and published under pubmed.
