She got PhD in Linguistics from University of khartoum, and working experiences are assisting in the annual evaluation of an illiteracy program, Known as REFLECT, in some displaced areas in Khartoum. The program has been awarded the UNISCO king Sejong international literacy prize for 2005 in recognition of informal female education.
