Murali Krishna Gurram

Biography

Murali Krishna Gurram is the Head of Geospatial Technology & Applications at Xinthe Technologies. He received a Doctorate in Management Studies from IIBMS, India 2009. He has done his M. Tech in GIS & Remote Sensing in 2003, M.Phil in Geo-Engineering in 2000 and M.Sc in Geography in 1997 from Andhra University, India. Murali Krishna Gurram, a Geospatial Information Technology expert with 18 years of experience in the field with exposure to various GIS project life cycles of different scales and magnitudes. He has been working on the aspects of GIS, Remote sensing, Digital Image Processing, Photogrammetry GPS and GIS development technologies and applications for providing real-time solutions. He has a vibrant academic and research background centered around the spectrum of geospatial information systems.

His expert areas include GIS Application Architecture, WebGIS Product Development, GIS Information Product Development, Urban Growth-risk modeling, Disaster management, Remote Sensing and GIS applications for the environmental monitoring and management of Urban Areas, Coastal, River delta and Wetland Management, Micro-climate change detection and analysis, Land and Water Resource Management, etc.
