Mustafa Tasdemir

Biography

Mustafa Tasdemir is an Associate professor in BezmialemVakif University, Faculty of HealthSciences, Department of Health Management, Ä°stanbul.He was graduated from Marmara University School of Medicine in 1990. He worked as a general practitioner for 3 years. Then he started residency training in public health at Marmara University. After being a public health specialist, he worked for private sector on quality management consulting and auditing. He then served as assistant professor at the Department of Health Management of Marmara University. He became a member of The Steering Committee of National Health Care Accreditation System of Ministry of Health in 2004-2005. He then worked as senior training and research coordinator for Ministry of Health in 2008-2009. He received B.A. degree in business administration in 2009. Lastly, he was assigned as the first Public Health Director of Istanbul in 2012 where he was responsible for fight against tobacco, alcohol and substance. At the end of two-year tenure, he returned to Marmara University. He currently is a member of Bezmialem Vakif University.
