Biography

 Dr. Daniels received his BA from Cornell University and his medical degree from the University of Washington, Seattle. He completed a residency with the Department of Medicine at UCSF, is board certified in Internal Medicine, and has a Masters in Public Health degree from Yale University. Between 1997-1999, Dr. Daniels completed a fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer in the Foodborne1 and Diarrheal Diseases Branch of the National Center for Infectious Diseases. He has also worked as a diarrheal disease consultant for the World Health Organization in Southeast Asia. Currently an Associate Professor of Medicine at UCSF.

Research Interest

 His research goals are to reduce racial and ethnic disparities in access to and the delivery of preventive healthcare services, and to establish a collaborative partnership model between universities and community-based organizations for health education.
