Dr. Nisar Ahmed Khan studied Medical Biology at the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands and received his Ph.D. with honors, Cum Laude, at the Erasmus Medical Center, Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands. His research focuses on the identification of micro-peptides and micro-RNAs through a systems biology approach. He is an inventor of tens of US and EP patents. At present he is a director of Zarah B.V., a Medical Research Consultancy and Advisory company, and a guest scientist at the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Delft, The Netherlands. He is also advisor to several research institutions in Middle East and Pakistan.
