Biography

Dr. Paul B. Tchounwou completed his B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from the University of Yaounde (1983) and later his M.Sc in Biochemistry from the University of Yaounde (1984) and later M.S.P.H. in Environmental Health Sciences from Tulane University Medical Center (1986), He completed his Sc.D. in Environmental Toxicology from Tulane University Medical Center (1990). He completed his Post-Doc in Molecular Toxicology from Tulane University Medical Center (1996). He is Director, NIH-RCMI Center for Environmental Health, Jackson State University (2008 - Present) , Associate Dean, College of Science, Engineering and Technology, Jackson State University (2007-Present), Adjunct Professor. School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Tulane University Health Sciences Center. 2005 – Present, Director of Environmental Science Ph.D. Program, Jackson State University (1996 – Present).
