Biography

 Dr. Radu MOLDOVANU is a general surgeon, specialized in minimally invasive surgery. His areas of expertise are colorectal, abdominal wall and oncologic surgery. 

 
He has over 15 years of experience in surgical practice and over 10 years in the field of medical teaching and clinical research. He is fellow of International Society of Surgery, European Association of Endoscopic Surgery (EAES) and French Society of Surgery (Association Francaise de Chirurgie - AFC). He accomplished his PhD thesis in 2007. 
 
He graduated University of Medicine Iasi, Romania, in 1996, and the residency in general surgery, in 2002. From 2000 until 2010 he worked as Assistant Professor of Surgery. 
 
From 2010 he is working in France, as senior surgeon. Actually he practices to St. Mary Clinic from Cambrai, France. He is also Associate Surgeon of Armentières Hospital and Associate Lecturer of University of Medicine Iasi, Romania. 
 
He published numerous journal papers and book chapters. He is founder and editor in chief of the first Romanian online surgical journal – Jurnalul de chirurgie [Journal of Surgery] – www.jurnaluldechirurgie.ro.
 
He is an Honorific Ambassador of Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (SLS) and was honored with Marquis Who’s Who in medicine.
