Ralf Hass is a Professor of Biochemistry and Cell Biology and currently affiliated at the Medical University in Hannover, Germany. He received his PhD in Biochemistry following studies in Hannover, at the University of San Diego, California, at the Max-Planck-Institute for Experimental Medicine in Göttingen, and at the New York Medical School, Valhalla. Thereafter, Ralf worked as a post-doc at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School in Boston and was appointed as Assistant Professor at the University Clinic Charité in Berlin before moving to the Medical University, Hannover. Ralf is Associate Editor and Editorial Board Member of several peer-reviewed journals and he is founding member, council member and former president of the international Signal Transduction Society (STS; www.sigtrans.de).
